Thank you so much for your post.  I have been having a hard time with this as I want to have a baby so much.  My other  three children 21, 16 and 8 from a previous marriage and want to blend our family with my new husband and baby (ies) my children would love to have a new baby in the house, and I want to give my husband a baby.  He does not have any.  I know I am blessed and am hoping for at least one more, healthy baby.

Your positive encouragement makes me hopeful.

Thank you

hi babe,
im very sorry about your and your husbands recent loss..but there is one positive thing that comes to my mind about this though and that is that your body has let you know that you are still able to get concieve and fall pregnant!!,..so obviously you have hurdled the obstacles of ''older mothers find it harder to fall pregnant'' and "older mothers eggs decrease in quality''... your body is still able to concieve!!..your eggs are obviously still good and your endometrium is still receptive to recieve that much wanted embryo!! so i wish you all the luck for your future pregnancy!.xx

Well, it seems it was not meant to be :(( as I am mis carrying now.  It started with just spotting, but I am now bleeding steadily for three days.  I am so sad and disappointed.  I am trying to think positively, but with every trip to the bathroom and every cramp, I am reminded of what was and what will not be.

I suggest you get to.the Dr ASAP and if you're truly pregnant follow everything they say cause at your age your body would have a little difficulty carrying a baby

I'm 25 and almost 20 weeks pregnant with my second baby ..when i got pregnant with my daughter my mother in law was also pregnant LOL it was really cool to go through pregnancy with someone older an has knowledge on things ...she was 42 I was 18 and she did better than I did with symptoms walking etc ..my only advice is drink lots of water start a good pre natal vitamin ASAP AK rest ...most importantly relax and enjoy it people said mean things to me because I was too young so forget them ...people can be judgemental jerks ..:):) Congrats

Congratulations!!! I am also worried about the negative comments. I haven't told my family yet, either. Except for my daughters, (14 & 12). I am telling them this week, however. Even if I do get negative feedback, I know that I am very blessed regardless. Good luck!

Congrats. I just turned 49 & trying to conceive. My children are 28 & the other is almost 23 (June). We are also grandparents. We cannot live our lives on others opinions.

I'm sorry your only seeing and hearing negative things.  I don't think you will find that to be the case here.  Congrats to you!  Personally, I think it's wonderful and the best age to have a child is the one that is right for you.  Welcome to our community, and a happy and healthy 9 months to you!

My hat goes to you because it took me to go threw fibriod surgery and a myomectomy to conceive my son, im 40 and i just had him on 11-11-11 and he's beautiful and healthy. I didn't have any concerns until the doctor's was talking that age crap, i wasn't trying to hear that **** because i had done been threw so many misscarriages and disappointments that i was determined to have and bring this baby to life with everything in me, so the morrel is don't let anybody rain on your parade especially if your happy!!!!!!!!!!! Goodluck and keep me informed.

Congrats ! I am 44 and trying desperately to concieve :(. It just isn't working. Off to the specialist I go. Don't mind what others say! I would LOVE to become pregnant now and wouldn't care what anyone else has to say about it !!! I feel so much more in control at this age and a lot more mature. I am sure you will enjoy it! Just remember to take it easy sometimes :) Let me know how it goes !
