Common misconception. Milk is purely supply and demand. That's why it doesn't come in until after baby is born because it is the birthing hormones that send the signal to begin milk production. Prior to birth, breast changes occur that are preparing the breasts/body to produce but not actually producing (breast growth/tenderness/darker areolas/erect nipples etc).

You produce milk almost at the beginning of your pregnancy in your glands that are in your breast,  but after you deliver the baby your body will send a signal to the breast glands to release the baby's milk or whatever.

You are not producing milk. Milk doesn't even come in until about 4 days after baby is born. Colostrum comes first.

You have started producing milk. It's really because they are growing in size and are getting irratated. Scratching too much increases stretch marks. Try rubbing them and putting cocoa butter on them.

You don't have milk yet. It's likely them growing as your glands wake up to prepare for baby.
