It took me 2 weeks to be 100% but each day it got a little better. I had no problems again until the end ofmy next 2 pregnancies. I had llots of pubis pain the last 2 months. Of course I'm 40 so it could be age not just previous injury related. It will go away!
Thanks for your comments.
I did have an epidural, but kcwayman is right, this is something different. And during the pda and the first day after I could walk just fine.
It's not that i cannot walk because I cant feel my legs. It's more that they deny their job because my body "knows" that tensing that muscle would hurt too much in the symphysis.
This is sooo frustrating. Doctors said it could take weeks until it gets better. :-(
No this is not epidural that's a different feeling.this is the pubis.
Did U get epidural?
Heard ladies saying they got epidural and got some problems even walking properly for some days. Of course it goes over aftrr some days, bit not nice and fun.
This article about symphasis pubis dysfunction states that most cases resolve on their own -

This happened with my second baby and once the swelling went down a couple of days after delivery I was able to walk.
