extreme itching all over

Hi there ladies!  I'm 16w5d right now and have been so itchy the last few days.  My arms, my legs, my hips.  I'm breaking out in hives and I've been scratching so hard that some of the hives are bleeding slightly.  ( I know I shouldn't scratch, but I CAN'T HELP IT!)   I haven't eaten anything different or used any different products lately.  Has this happened to anyone else lately?  Any advice on how to relieve the itch?  PLEASE HELP!

I went to the doctor today and she is convinced that I have an allergic reaction to something that has touched my skin.  No harm to baby.  My cousin, who is a doula, thinks I have PUPPP.  Has anyone else heard of this?

It sounds like Hives....and they surface from stress usually.  Aveeno at the drug store and soak.  Id also call your doc and let them know too.  Benedryl cream will help the itch too.
