help

I am 36 and I was 5 weeks 4 days at the first hcg.. result was 661.. 43hours later it only climed to 879. Has anyone had a viable pregnancy with results like those?? I have another apt in 2 days to check them again!! I have no bleeding. I know at this point I can't change the outcome, but with the tone my Dr. uses to me, I think it's hopeless!!

Your HCG levels should double every 48 to 72 hours, so honestly, it sounds like all is just fine.  They are going up and that is what matters.  Mine were doubling about every 83 hours (or something close to that) and I am now 22 weeks with a healthy pregnancy.  Good luck to you!!

I just want to wish you luck and prayers!!!! I have been through a few miscarriages.. and one site i thought helped give me hope through the tough times was misdiagnosedmiscarriage.com you will find many success stories on there with people with slow rising beta's.. there is always a chance - never give up hope! :)   Sometimes you can have a twin pregnancy, and loose one of the pregnancies and thats why the number doesnt double correctly.. however ectopic and blighted ovum are also unfortunately of concern with Beta's slow rising as well.. Your in my prayers for a healthy pregnancy!!! keep us updated and good luck!
