moms with children already... please help

I know this isn't the forum for this, but I don't know where else to post this.. my son is 9 weeks old and he is very fussy.. he doesn't want to sit on his own in his swing or bouncer or even play pen. He falls asleep and as soon as I put him down he wakes up screaming. Nights are difficult.  I'm in and out of his room all night. Its not a wet diaper or hunger. What can I do?

Aww 9wks is still a tender age I think as advised you should make him settle with you for a while...our son is over 5mnths now & he was close by me up to 3mnths, on the other hand it could be colic if it doesn't work I'd ask my doctor. Good luck

He does have some colic. He gets a lot of gas at times. I have recently switched the bottle to see if it will reduce the gas. He usually sleeps in his crib for most of the night and then the 4 or 5 am feeding we sleep together on the sofa. I lay against the back of the sofa on one side and put a pillow on my other side so I'm face up and pinned in. So I'm sure I won't roll over. He sleeps on my chest and neither of us move. I recently got a tip that he might get anxiety sleeping alone because he is used to being snuggled in the womb. I was told to put a rolled up blanket behind him and a smaller folded one at his abdomen like a wedge. Its supposed to help the gas too. . Lets see how it works.  Thank you so much ladies xo

It sounds a lot like colic.  My 2 yr old acted that way for over a yr and a half.  Nothing seemed to help,  other than having a bottle of warm milk next to her crib.  Also,  I would have to rock her to sleep for at least an hour every nite (in rocking chair).  I would tell doc what's going on also,  just to be safe.

My baby is 14 weeks old. She sleeps with me and nurses whenever she wants to. Sometimes she gets overtired at night and nothing will help her go to sleep except lying down with her and nursing her to sleep. She is usually very good and doesn't cry during the day unless she's hungry. Does your baby possibly have colic? Do you breastfeed? I hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know and I'll try to help. Btw she is my tenth child.

It sounds like he is a bit spoiled lol but that is ok. spoil while u can because they grow much too fast. have u tried putting him in bed with u at night? doc might say know but this usually does the trick and every1 sleeps better. just b sure to keep him in crook of ur arm n no chance of smothering
