no heart beat yet

I had an u/s when i was 5 w then i had it when i was 6.5 week but with no heart beat . Having another one on 16th jan  when i will be 8 week . HCG and progestrone levels are  increasing  . U/s looks good but no heart beat . How long should i wait to hear heart beat ? or should we make up our mind for miscarriage if 8w u/s does not show heart beat or should we wait any longer? Thanks for the support

At 9wks5d my doctor saw the heartbeat via transvaginal ultrasound, and could time the rate. I could see the heart movement, but we still couldn't hear anything.

My midwife couldn't pick-up the heartbeat with a doopler at 12wks3d  which made me a little nervous, now at 15wks2d it's loud and clear.

Personally, I'd consider waiting a couple weeks, your dates might be a bit off. They are so tiny at this point!

i am confused...did you see the baby on ultrasound...but didnt hear it yet? i am 9 weeks today and still havent heard the heart beat yet...but on ultrasound the technician and doctor have pointed out the blinking dot that is the heart beat. but my doctor said it will be a few more weeks before we can hear it on a doppler.either way... what does your doctor recommend? i am sorry you have to worry like this...try and stay positive!!!!! i will keep you and your little one in my prayers tonight!!!!

I know exactly what you are going thru then Im going thru something similar. I am new to this page and I just posted my story in the hope that someone could give me some advice. Im 6weeks and my hcg is 26000 but still no fetal pole. My dr thinks it is not a normal pregnancy but I believe (hope) Im just too early. do they see anything in your GS?

I truly hope everything works out fine, I will be praying for you and the baby.
