It's really too early to look for a heartbeat. If the doctor sees the sac and the baby appears to be growing according to dates, most likely all is ok. A lot of times, even after 8 weeks, docs still can't find a heartbeat. This is why I think getting prenatal care too early really isn't helpful.
I am considered high risk due to the two blood disorders and my age my ob said due to baby possibly becoming anemic resulting from antibodies attacking his/her blood and the problems I had my last pregnancy I have to be monitored early in pregnancy trying to keep positive but its hard when my doctor is not sure of a normal pregnancy
Has anyone else had the same experience
The RH factor is never an issue with first pregnancies.
I have read of heartbeat not being detected at 6 weeks and being picked up later. Your doctor can deal with the blood disorders am sure. Age is not a big deal though but doctors r just hysterical when pple are over 35. Many pple proceed to have normal kids.
This would be my 4th pregnancy I misscarried 2 times before once at 6 and 9 weeks and I have a 5 year old
I had this with my first son, u/s at 6 weeks and no heart beat. Back at 8 weeks and there he was beating away. I have miscarried 4 times and I felt the difference In my body. With Jacob like u said.I still felt pregnant, with the miscarriages I knew something was wrong. I have 2 boys one 5 n one 2 and I am currently 37+5 pregnant with my third a little girl. X
