periods

I am almost 35. Three years ago I miscarried. It was internal and a surgery was done by the doctor to clean up the act. After that my periods are coming on 90 or 50 days gap. It is becoming difficult to conceive now. I had 35 days cycle prior to surgery and they were regular for 90% of time. I don't have any clue what happened. Can any body help me that if my surgeon messed up? What I should do now?

I had the 'c' part of a d&c after a MC in November.  I was 14 weeks, went into labor, dilated, and passed the fetus.  They went in to retrieve the placenta.  I got my period back after 4 weeks.  My cycle then ranged slightly long, from 30 to 34 days - but I got it every month.  My last period was June 20th, after a 30 day cycle (I'm pregnant now).  I did a month long salivary hormone test (saliva samples every other day for one cycle), which showed that I ovulated early (day 11), and then had a sharp decline in my progesterone after that, and it was a 34 day cycle that month.  Interesting to note that I only have one tube connected after an ectopic pregnancy, I'm 38, and we only tried on day 11 of the month I conceived.  What does your OB say about the 90-50 day cycle - seems long to me.  I agree with azqtpies - go to a fertility doc so they can do some tests to see what is going on.

Im 25 no children on clomaid third cycle no luck so far.  I've never had a regular cylce so they gave me some meds to make my cycle come so that I could start the clomaid.  I've had surgery about a year ago to remove a cyst from my ovary and was told that everything was fine and I shouldn't have any trouble, we found out about the cyst because we were trying to concieve for a year and a half with no luck, had the surger was told I was good to go,however that's not the case.  I'm so depressed all the time this is so hard, especially watching everyone around you concieve with no problem many not even wanting it, its killing me.  Im almost to the point of giving up, i'm tired of crying and buying test that only crush my heart when I only see negative time and time again.

The same is going on with me and I am only 30. I have had two d and c done one in August and one in March now it is so hard to conceive they did a ultrasound of my ovaries waiting on that result tomorrow. The doctor had talked about putting me on clomaid I already have three children but want one more this is so depressing.

Thanks

My surgery was d&c. I have taken clomaid for 5 times but no success. Thyroid levels were okay. I was not even 31 when I miscarried. You know how come my periods just disappeared? Is it common problem after d&c? I was quite regular with my periods. When I conceived 3 years ago it happened in the first chance only. I didn't have to try hard. My OBGYN has no answer now what to do?

I would talk to a reproductive fertility doc... would be your best shot, he can give you some meds to try and get you to ovulate! Also I would have your thyroid levels checked... might have something to do with the irregular cycles.. good luck to you.. keep us posted =)
