thank u any info is very helpful.
This is a hard question to answer as it can really vary from women to women. So much depends on your overall health, etc. but I can tell you what the common issues are.
Our risk of chromosomnal abnormality increases as we age. So miscarriage, and babies born with issues such as trisonomy 13, 18 and 21 do increase. We have increased risk of issues such as pre eclampsia, pre term labor, gestational diabetes, etc.
The reality is that in this day and age we have excellent medical care and monitoring available, and the majority of potential problems are caught and can be well managed during pregnancy. You will find that some Dr.'s are very negative about pregnancy in our 40's while others are very supportive.
Are you pregnant, or are you considering a pregnancy? Whichever the case, all the best to you.
