sicker then a dog

What can I buy that's safe for the baby if I am sick? I have been coughing and hacking all night and day. My throat feels swollen my head always hurts, its hard for me to sleep, my nose wont stop running, and at night when I can sleep I wake up several times drenched in sweat. Somebody please help me.

My Dr. would only ever allow tylenol.  The only exception was that she gave me a prescription for tamaflu as a just in case (I was pregnant during the H1N1 scare).

Natural remedies work well for many. Just be careful - some homeopathic medications are also contraindicated during pregnancy.

I really would talk to your Dr.  He or she knows you medical history and situation best.  See what they recommend or perhaps even prescribe.

I hope you feel better soon.

Look up natural remedies. There is a honey, cumin, cayenne pepper mix that is really helpful. I found them in a google search. Just make sure your honey is pasteurized.
