It's common it's jus a bacteria. We csn live with it but it csn be harmful to baby that's why they test sothey can ttreat with antibiotics. Nothing to worry about
I think some people rejoice in scare stories when in relation to gbs when they reply to questions.on.it, but before any of those comments appear, like the ladies say you will be in safe hands. Your medical team.will put in place all the precautions and checks for baby during and after labour. It is actually quite common and extememely rare that things do not go perfectly. Good luck and try not.to worry and enjoy your pregnancy xx
I have strep b made me really scared but apparently it's very common I'm nearly 39 weeks
I have strep B and will be having a vaginal birth. with an antibiotics throughout labour so no infections pass through babys birth cannal
I had it with my first born. Nothing serious. When you get admitted to hospital for labor, let your nurse know so they can treat you with antibodics (iv). This helps prevents any infections after your water breaks and protects the baby during delivery. My daughter was born healthy and beautiful
I haven't but my friend did! Its nothing serious my doctor said if the time was positive then they will give you IV meds when you go into labor so it clears up.
