I have also always heard to turn on your back and elevate your hips - or at least stay in bed for 30 mins. Best of luck to you!
When we were TTC my first child, I always rolled over on my back and put a pillow under my butt to elevate, but I got pregnant with my 2nd child 8 1/2 weeks ago and we weren't trying so I definitely wasn't elevating, so if you don't do that every time, you can still get pregnant! Good luck to you!
I would say it depends on you and how your vagina is tilted... the object is to keep the semen and sperm in the vagina and close to the cervix... so if you know how you tilt or if one way is more comfortable for you and helps the semen stay where it was placed then.. use that position...
The most important part is that you don't get up and move around... so if you are thirsty or other things that needs to wait until about 30 minutes is over.. Been told its best to sleep that way so make sure you P, prior to the start of BDing...
Interesting question ... I had the same question and was informed above!!!
