im still pregnant after abortion i had it done about 2 weeks ago by pill and i took a pregnancy test 2 nigths ago and it still saids im pregnant thes that mean the pill did not work should i go back to the doctor and take more pills
It can take up to 6 weeks for the pregnancy hormone (HCG) to leave your system. Retest in 4 weeks and if you still get a positive result then go see your doctor. At this point I wouldn't worry about it.
The hcg is probably still in your system. I still had a level of 70 in my system 2 weeks after my m/c. You should probably schedule a follow-up appointment with your doc to test your levels in the next week or so.
It could mean that but the pregnancy hormone does take time to leave your body which is why it probably is coming up positive!!
