I got pregnant with my first child at 17 & it was the BEST thing to happen to me ( she's 6 now) & I still feel as privileged as I did then. How it works out for all depends on how responsible you are & the sacrifices your willing to make - I was always a home body so it was complimentary to my lifestyle, in a sense.
As far as the pregnancy,  the first trimester you deal with the most of sickness. It doesnt discontinue but it lightens the other trimesters while some disappear. As long as you're open minded it's fairly breezy. I read ALL my baby books & magazines & I was very open with my doctor & overall I just expected the worse while hoping for the best.
Just have faith, stay positive,  & be aware of the what ifs for your situation. Being a mother pays for itself.  6 years later & I never thought I would love it this much but it gets better everyday.

Ur 17 yrs old? Well, expect ur life to change, obviously. Long nights, giving lots of attention, and of course, feeling a type of love for a little being that is unlike anything else. They will cry, alot (some don't but expect it anyways), they will poop alot, they will eat alot, u will need to keep an eye on them almost constantly. When they're really little, you'll worry and when they crawl and walk they get into everything. (You'll have to keep everything off the floor and out of reach). U won't get much sleep for the first few months but can when they nap. U have to b interactive with them with toys and talking and teaching. Most of that tends to happen without even trying...like I would sit and play with my son and he was learning or I would just talk to him or talk about what I was doing even tho he can't talk back but, again, he's learning. Does that make sense? They will ruin nice clothes (urs and theirs) but that's something that can't b helped so if u LOVE that cute top and would die if it got stained, don't wear it when ur dealing with the baby lol Basically, u r being entrusted with a life, a whole new level of responsibility, and u have no choice but to dedicate urself completely. (Clothes or baby food? Sorry. Clothes have to wait). I don't want to scare u. Reality is reality and no amount of sugar coating changes the facts. But I promise u that every sacrifice u make, every sleepless night and ruined top, will b worth it bc that baby loves and needs u and when they smile at u, u can't help but smile back and forget everything that sux about parenthood (and trust me, sometimes it sux lol)
