18 days left til due!!

I have 18 days left until my due date. I keep getting contractions every 3-5 minutes apart, and they'll continue for a couple hours! but then they'll just fade away! my last appt was Monday and they checked me and said I am a fingertip dialated and my cervix is really thinning out. what can I do to make these contractions stay and put me into actual labor? I want my son out now! and his due date is 12/17/12 and my 11 month old daughters bday is 12/21/11 so I want to have him ASAP so I have more of a gap between their birthdays and Christmas! help!!! please..?

im 18 days left aswell. baby is still high up though and i recon i will be late. so wish he came early so he doesnt have a christmas birthday

I have 19 days left! I was the exact same at my 36wk checkup. I get checked again at 38wk appt, until then I've been drinking the red rassberry leaf tea bout 3x a day nd inserting  2 of the evening primrose oil capsules every night  you can take them orally but they give me a headache. My contractions are the same as yours only after sex tho. Hopefully I'll see some progress next week!
