1st DR visit but wasnt happy with the Dr

Am 14 weeks now and I had my 1st Dr visit yesterday. I have been taking Prenatal Multi+DHA from Nature Made. I bought them from Walmart ever since I found out I was pregnant. The Dr didn't gave me any prescription  Prenatal Vitamins. She also didnt do a ultrasound so we still dont know if the baby is in the right place and we couldnt hear the heart beat she said it was to early. That next month they should do a ultrasound and will hear the heart beat. Is it ok to keep on taking the Vitamins I bought at Walmart? And should I be worry about not hearing the baby heart.

I think the vitamins you are taking are fine. Most of them are the same, some doctors just have preferences for some brands (guess why lol). But she was definitely wrong about saying you wouldn't see/hear heartbeat yet. I saw (not heard) my baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks and heard it at 10. However, it is not uncommon for doctors to only do one ultrasound at around 18 weeks to determine the gender, as your insurance doesn't cover a lot of them. If you had a personal feeling you didn't like the dr., I'd change her/him, but other than that she didn't really do anything out of the ordinary. Best wishes :)
