23 Weeks Pregnant & Vicodin

I am 23 years old and have had a completely normal pregnancy thus far..knock on wood. I am about 23 weeks and have been taking vicodin ES for about 5 years now for a severe injury i suffered. My doctor gave me the ultimatum of either quitting cold turkey or putting me on methadone. I am completely against the methadone but NEED to quit before it gets too late. Anytime that I have attempted I feel like **** and cannot get out of bed and REALLY really need some help on how to feel normal again. I hate this feeling of dependency and want to do whats best and am completely against methadone and absolutely refuse to take it. I would really appreciate some constant daily support straight to my email or heck...phone if that is what it is going to take because this is by far very very hard. I need help please anyone i am reaching out if anytime it is now and i am begging that god send me an angel!

You csn do it i was taken that **** for 7 years i quite  only take half you pill each time as you are so way attached to taking it so tomorrow take half then ever y other day take another away You can do it with out methadone I did
I am still in pain but not as bad as i was when i was taking alll the drugs you will be fine stay in bed pray read watch a movie it will be hard but your baby is worth it  it will take  3weeks how much are you taking and many a day Keep me posted YOU CAN DO IT SO WHAT IF YOU CALL IN TO WORK FOR A FEW DAYS STAY IN BED AFTER 7 DAYS YOU WILL NOT HAVE WITHDRAWLS it will omly be mental also sleep with a geating pad were you hurt and use tiger balm or icey hot patches  I promise you will feel better  i will pray for you     P.s i finally feel normal its great

Did you doctor give you any advice about how you'll feel, if you'll get over that feelings, etc.? I don't know much about drugs. I really hope someone else on here can give you more info than me!
