38 weeks 1 day pregnant
Ive been having braxton hicks contractions almost all day. They come and go but not enough to be officially in labor. I went to pee and when I wiped I saw a brownish red mucus or discharge on the paper but nothing on the toilet. Is this my mucus plug ? Should I be worried and head to the hospital ?? I've never had any problems through out my pregnancy never bled. It scares me but it looks like if Im starting my period since the braxton hicks today felt like period cramps but a little more than that

Call your midwife and she will keep you right as to when you should leave for the hospital. Good luck!
