38.5 weeks with bulging bag
Is intercourse safe with a bulging bag? I am 38.5 weeks.
Hmmm :-/. This would be a question to ask your doctor. I know that when I was induced for medical reasons at 39w4d with my second child, I had a bulging sac of waters and was 4Cm dilated...from my understanding, if the sac is bulging too far it can put your baby at risk for cord prolapse, so it needs to be paid careful attention by your doctor.
On the other hand, sex could be just what you need to kick labor into gear since you're already so close...so...I'd just say you really need to ask your doc about this hon better safe than sorry!
