39w3d few questions

One, has anyone ever had excruciating hip pain, im seriously almost in tears! If im not laying on my hip I feel like im going to scream! And two, has anyone ever used their breast pump to try to bring on labor. Im 80% thinned and 1 cm dilated.

I was told it's my hips spreading getting ready to dilate. I flat out asked my doctor what his plans were Friday if he was going to induce or make me wait and go naturally. He said induction wasn't an issue, it was my choice, but he wouldn't do it before 39 weeks. With a three year old, induction will be the best so I can make sure he is settled before I get admitted. Our first son actually came two days before my induction date (gestational diabetes being the reason) so there is still that chance. My doctor couldn't believe how big the baby is already when he did a measurement scan. He came in the ultrasound room and said he doesn't know how I'm still getting around and how well I carry a big baby. Then he told me he will be 8-9 pounds according to the average fetal weight gain, but I'm still set to have him vaginally unless I physically can't deliver him after trying. I'm 4'10", and my 7 pound son got stuck under my pelvis and they had to vacuum him out. I'm petrified of what awaits!

I get severe pelvic pain at night that tells me it's time to hang it up and lay down. It is right in the middle of my hips, and I can feel his head digging deeper. Its a sharp pain that actually brings tears to my eyes. I have 28 days left, but we are inducing at 39 weeks since he is already measuring at 7 pounds.

I don't know, I think labor is a different kind of pain, I'd rather go through labor than a paper cut, hahah!

Thank you, ive had a lil hip pain here an there but it just got really bad when I woke up from a nap, like worst pain I've ever felt, which I know isn't anything compared to labor im sure but its pretty bad.

I had hip pain in the end, come and go though, I'm really not sure what caused it! And I don't think I would try the breast pump just because you can risk infection that way. I hope baby comes for you soon!!
