3rd C section

Hi all, I just found out that Im pregnant with my 3rd!!! I am a little nervous about the c section though, has anyone had a 3rd and do you think it is worse then the first 2 in anyway. Also is the 3rd pregnany harder at all. All my children were planned and this one was a bit of a suprise. I am also going to get my tubes tied anyone ever done that and does it keep me away from my baby even longer or is it a quick process??? Thanks ladies

i just had my 3rd c-section and this go around was more different for me because with my last 2 i never got the infecton and they both were born at the same hospital and my 3rd one was not and 4 some reason i got an bacterial infecton and had to be on antibiotcs. but i would think that if i had not got that it would have been a better recovery for me though. i had my daughter august 9th 2012=). i have 1 boy he will be 4 november 15th and my daughter shes my second she just turned 2 august 29th and now this lil girl. congrats on your pregnancy hun.

So you have 4 kids but this is your 3rd c section right?? was you first natural? Moving *****, we just bought our first home and then suprise baby 3 on the way. We will eventully have to move too which ***** cause I love this home. Mabey we can make it work. Both my babies were pretty small 6.5oz and 7.13oz. I could probley have seen my babies earlier but I knock out. I am gonna try my hardest to stay awake this time. I get so worn out that I just take advantage I guess. Even though with this last pregnancy I SNORED so bad I would wake myself up lol  so we are only 2 months apart do you feel you baby move yet thats my favorite part.

I am due April 13 but are talking about taking him/her April 8 possibly.  So we will see :)  Im very impatient too but trying to enjoy mine as well bc this is also my last one :(  so sad but u cant have a ton of kids!  Atleast I cant...4 will be plenty for us.  We already have to move ugh....my first was 7lbs. 3oz and my second came out at 8lbs 9oz  so I am hoping this one is smaller than that and not bigger!  I am a short person so i always look bigger than I am bc I dont have a ton of room in my abdomen.  Holy cow that long?  They always told me an hour or as soon as I can feel my toes.  so I do that as fast as I can and get the pain meds I need and get on my way bc I wanna see my baby!!

Thats crazy I though they will only let you have 3 c sections because of the risks?

I am not due until June 18th so I figure they will take him/her the 10th or 11th. I have always felt inpatient with my pregnancies but I am going to enjoy this one cause its my last and I love being pregnant. I told my husband to stay with the baby also until I get out, I think I am just parinoid that some crazy person will take my baby. I think I was in recovery the first time for like 3 hours bc I couldnt get the feeling back in my toes and with the second I think it was about 2-3 hours as well bc I passed out. I tried so hard to stay awake and couldnt. My blood pressure messes with me when I get that nervous. When is you due date?

oh thats good!  I know its like an hour after you hit the recovery room here or until you can move your toes.  I start moving my stuff quick so the feeling comes back quicker!  I told my fiance that NOONE but him can hold the baby until I get back to my room and hold him.her first! Yeah im up for a lil while afterwards but then im out for a few hours.  yeah my dr told me in the beginning about this being my third that we will hafta watch where the placenta puts itself bc of the c-sections I have had bc that can put me at high risk but said this is it for me too.  Which didnt matter bc I was saying this was it anyways lol.  When are you due??

Ya me too, I have googled it a little and everyone says that the tubes being tied doesnt add any recovery time I was concerned how much longer it take to tie your tubes cause I hate how long we have to stay away from our babies with the c section all by itself and now with the  tubes being tied. uggg After both of my c sections I seem to pass out right away. Thats good to know that other women have done the c section that close together. My doc also said 3 and that was it. Then it becomes a high risk for the mother.

I had a family member have one 18 months after her first and then 18 months after her second as well and all is fine but they told her DEFINATELY no more after that bc her scar tissue was like a rock.  You should be ok since itll be 2 years.  it was 3 between my first and second and will be 6 when this one comes.  try not to worry, all will be fine.  I am very curious as to whether the tubes being tied adds to the recovery time or not....

Hello I am having my tubes tied right after. I havent talked with my doc about anything yet so im not sure how all that works. C section are scary and painfull and now with 2 already ahhhh, I am nervous already and still have 8 months to go. Im a little nervouse for the opposite reason though cause its only been 18months since my last one (well when it happens if will be 2 years) but this was a suprise and I know they want you to wait at least 2 years for everything to heal properly.

Hello, congrats to you too. For me both as far as pain goes were the same and recovery time as well except for the fact I had a child already with the second one so you do have to move around more. My first opened up a little so that was fun lol My first was also an emergency c section so it was so quick I didnt have  time to be nervouse, but I was really really nervous with the second cause I knew what was coming. I felt like I was kinda a trooper the second time around though recovering cause you kinda know what to do and what not to and what signs to look for. Good Luck and keep me updated :)

Me too I'm scheduled for Dec 21st this will be my 2nd c section last one was 5 years ago I'm wondering how recovery time will be I'm also getting my tubes cut or tied not sure yet haven't discussed with Dr options. My recovery time for my last c section was fast and not as painful as thought it was going to be.

Just want to say congratulations!!! And bumping this post up. I had a c-section with my first, and am wondering about my 2nd c-section, if you don't mind me asking how was your recovery with your 2nd c-section? I recovered really well and wasn't in a ton of pain after my c-section, I'm a little nervous about getting cut in the same exact spot, and the scar tissue making it take longer to heal, or hurt more.
