4 days ;ate with cramping but no period

Question

Good evening, I am in need of some advice. Last month my husband and I decided we were ready to start TTC. I had my last AF starting the week of June 4th and stopped taking the BC pill immediately that week. I am currently 4, coming on 5 days late, with mild cramping but still no AF. I have noticed that I'm a lot more tired then I usually am, emotional and running to use the restroom a lot more. I have also noticed that I am having difficulty wearing any necklaces anymore which happened to me with my first pregnancy. Has anyone else had this happen to them and stiff had a BFP? Also, when would be a good time to take a PT?

Well congrats for sure!!! Yes this would be our first. My first BFP was in may but we had a mc. This is my 3rd ivf and hopefully my last. We had 4 embryos transferred so we are hoping one or two hang around for a healthy full term pregnancy. Hoping the same for you!

Thank you so much! I ended up taking one more last night and one this morning and all a BFP. I was not expecting a BFP for a while, especially since it took us over 7 months last time to conceive.  That is very exciting for you to get a BFP as well, would this be your first child?

Well if you didn't have hcg in your system it wouldn't show up positive. I would do another one to make sure the first is accurate but it sounds like your BFP. Congrats! I just got a BFP 7-5 after ttc 10yrs. We are pretty close then. Best of luck for a healthy pregnancy.

So I took the test and it a haste I put the test upside down. I realized it a couple of seconds later and flipped it over to see a BFP...do you guys think flipping the test around made a difference?

Red dye test and cause less confusion. If you have access to a.dollar tree the have em for a dollar and work just as well I got my bfp (faint though) at 9 dpo. And it only got darker in the following days

No I have not taken a HPT, I have been waiting to see if AF will come especially just coming off of the BCP. With my first pregnancy I took several HPT but all were a BFN until I was about 8 weeks along. I noticed a week ago that I also started getting twinges and a dull ache on my right side. When I go to the store next i will buy a HPT, any recommendations?

I agree with the first reply. If your late take a pregnancy test now. If its negative then wait a few days and retest. Also since your coming off the Bcp it can affect your cycle and how you feel. Early Pregnancy and periods have a lot of the same symptoms. Best of luck to you!

have you taken a hpt yet? if not I would take one soon. It is possible that your cycle is a little off since you just came off the bcp, did you use any opks to help narrow down when you might have ovulated?
