After a d and e or d and c

Hey I was wondering if anyone experienced the same as me. I was 14 weeks pregnant when I found out my babys heartbeat had stopped at 13 weeks. THey called it fetal demise. I had a d and e done on friday 1/7.Went home after procedure with some bleeding then it stopped for two days. The end of the thrid day I passed alot of large clots and then went to no bleeding again. I may have a little brown stuff once in a while but I am only on day seven after the d and e. Shouldn't I be bleeding more? I almost had to go to the hospital with the clotting but it all stopped shortly after it started.Emotionally we are a wreck. We have two healthy babies and dont have a clue as to why this one didnt' survive. There may not be an answer but we are patiently awaiting the genetic testing. There is no "normal" to any of this but Is there anyone else out there who has experienced this?? Or should I call my dr and tell them there is no bleeding??

Thank you I just get up everyday thinking this can't be it almost like there has to be something else....I just felt it was silly if I am not bleeding anymore only a couple days later why call the nurse? Maybe I will just to run it by them. The last time I talked to them I was passing clots. From the info they gave me I thought I was going to have to go to the ERat 2 am but everything stopped and went to a light bleeding then stopped completly again.

Thank you for your advice this is the hardest thing we have gone thru.
We actually went in for gallbladder removal surgery and found out we were pregant for the third time with this baby.We feel we found out as quickly as we lost the baby. With two healthy full term babies before this was a shock. Everyday is a new dayand I am taking it one at a time.

you should be fine! My sister has had two she las lost three. You can bleed up to 6 weeks like a normal pregnancy and you can bleed stop bleed stop or not bleed so long. .Anything is fine. I am so sorry for your loss and all I can say is give yourself time and ignore stupid things people tend to say wen they don't know waht to say.

But you should feel fine, and you can always call L&D and talk to a nurse anytime of the day! Or call your OB and talk with a nurse.
