I am 8 weeks and a few days preggo.. I have been getting a sore throat almost every day for the past 2 weeks. Yesterday my sore throat turned into a bad cold and i have bad headaches.. today it's only worse.. am i alone? I know that everyone's getting sick with the weather changing, but any preggos out there with a cold too? :(

sounds like the typical first trimester.. around 12 weeks you should start getting your energy back. have they checked your iron yet? that might be why your light  headed.. and if the nauseas that bad and preventing you from eating dr can give you something to help you eat better zofrans really common i was deathly sick my first trimester had to go to the er 3 times for dehydration because i was throwing up constantly and couldnt even keep water down (its the worst!!!!).. for now try crackers with ginger ale or sucking on mints or jolly ranchers  theres a bunch of little things you can try

Maybe I should try it.. i also constantly feel the need to throw up.. but i never throw up.. havent since like middle school. I just get a really nauseating feeling. I get so weak and lightheaded and sleepy.

benedryl is ok to take too.. I would call your dr. they could give you an antibiotic to help if your ok taking the antibiotic

my allergies have been off the wall!!!! i wake up every day with a stuffy nose, itchy eyes and a sore throat!! its the worst and some says it lasts the whole day:( i hope mine doesnt turn into a cold.hope you feel better
