Anyone in Georgia know of any natural childbirth friendly doctors?

Just found out I'm pregnant and I really want to deliver naturally this time. I have medicaid which does not cover midwives in Georgia... The doctor who delivered my first pushed an epidural on me when I told him all through my pre-natal care I wanted to deliver naturally.

So anyone know of any doctors that accept medicaid that encourage natural childbirth?

So if you are close to Atlanta, I live in Erie, PA and my OBGYN moved back down to Atlanta to practice and let me tell you, he is WONDERFUL!  Although I never saw him for pregnancy, he listens and is compassionate and funny.  Dr Timothy Schaefer.   don't know what plans he accepts and what not but if I could move to Atlanta I would just so I could continue under his care.

Ok so you're up closer to atlanta?  I don't know of any doctors up there.  Try Joys suggestion.  You can also call several doctors offices and ask the nurse/receptionist what that docs stand on natural child birth is.  You can also go to the georgia licensing board website and see if any doctors have had any disciplinary action etc against them.. I don't remember it right off but can look it up if you are interested.
