Yes, you can watch it online at Discovery Health. It's like Birth Day and Bringing home baby, except it follows all sorts of pregnancies in depth, High risk and otherwise.
It follows from the doctors perspective and she tells about how the ppl conceived and all. For example one woman who is 22-23 has 3 kids and she conceived all 3 times on birth control, Pills and Patch.
Another woman was exposed to the virus that gives you Mono in her 1st trimester, and her baby had lots of deformities. The day they were gonna do a Csection the baby was found to have passed. (he had a very VERY small chance of surviving)
It also shows how one of the doctors goes thru the process of freezing her eggs since she's 38 and thinks she may want another kid someday.
I don't have satellite (WAH!!!) but I love the TLC shows "Birth Day" and "Bringing Home Baby"! I'm going to have to watch them online!!!!!!! Thanks for the heads-up!
Hopefully we can get satellite soon after the whole digital TV switch-over next year. If you haven't heard of it, all TVs will have to be digital or have a box that allows it to be digital or they won't work! Isn't that nice? Now we have to go BUY something else... geez... It's like those guys who make video game consoles and come out with a new $500 one each year so your guy drooooools and begs for it.
!!!!!!hahaha!!!!!!!!! you have that problem too huh? i swear sometimes i would just get up and chunk that stupid xbox and wii out the window if we hadnt paid so much $ for it! i only play when everyone else comes over and does the wii its really fun! but yeah i heard about the tv's we already have one thats good to go, but hubby wants to go out and get a freaking outrageous one when he comes back from the boat next time, i wish we could wait until after tax returns next yr, but nooooooooo. hes just using that HD thing as an excuse lol thanks a bunch cable companies! everyone around here only uses cox cable....
Pssh! Yeah, my guy has a video console complex!!! Hopefully this XBOX360 will last for a couple years (doubt it---there's always something newer, better, more compatible).
Go read my response to your journal entry. I'm so fed up I think I'm going crazy and I'm starting to become very sarcastic and rude! But you know what? I don't care! No one else around here cares so there ya go! LOL!
OMG house of babies i forgot about that one! i hold Sherry to like rock star standards, if i ever meet that woman, i want her autograph!!!!!!! shes amazing!
Joy I know you are getting fed up, and i never wanted that journal entry to end up wearing on the nerves of people like you and GreenEyedMama (who endured several insults on her intelligence and even worth as a mother!) and i just cant stand that! but some people from other communities even jumped in and were just insulting! i feel as if my point was made yrs ago! i will delete it soon. but i think someone needs to make peace with herself first before i do that and im not going to stop shining the light in her eyes until she does. phew! i will say nothing more. sorry ladies
Oh don't you worry luv2bmommy! I am perfectly fine, just getting a little sarcastic. And I know greeneyedmomma is taking it like a champ! It makes us better, stronger people and I know what you mean!!!
Who knew one journal entry could spark so much? LOL! It's all very interesting to me, honest! I know who you are talking about too, and hopefully a few others "see the light" as well!
I watch that show, "A Baby Story," "Bringing Home Baby" and "Babies: Special Delivery."
I'm ADDICTED to baby shows even though I'm not preggo nor do I Have children. I love to learn and it's so fascinating and informative to watch!!!
Yes I watch that all the time my bf gets tired of me watchin it he always tells me to turn the channel you're always watching that nasty stuff lol. But it is very educational you learn alot from it. When I had my daughter I watched everything and read everything and the doctors were qutie suprised that I knew as much as I did. I even had told them some things that they had to look into or miss. It's a great experiance for your friends or families first child. You can give them so much information. I basically live on the discovery channel lol.
