August mommies

I've noticed tons of babies born since the beginning of August alone!

All these ladies going into labor and meeting there babies and i'm just sitting over here thinking "I guess those contractions are going to pick up this time either..." lol

Are there still many August mommies left? How are you feeling? Have you dilated or anything yet?

Currently, I'm sitting through frequent contractions and cramps because I felt the same way last time I went to L&D and was told not to come back until I can't breathe because the pain is so bad (they apparently don't mind that I'm almost 4 cm, 80% effaced, and baby is 0 station, and my contractions come 2-3 mins apart, and last about 60 seconds if not longer.) :/ Hoping for a miracle, lol.

I'm due the 31st but hoping not to have to wait that long! I'm so uncomfortable already and have been since beginning of July! I have pulled muscles in both my sides from my belly growing and me not gaining very much weight due to GD and dietary restrictions that made me lose almost everything I gained this pregnancy. And I've had a bad knee since I was 12 and the difference in center of gravity has made my knee a total mess this time around as well. Not to mention all the cravings I've had for things and not being able to have ANY of them from the diet? I'm ready for some ice cream and peanut butter cups with a whole gallon of milk to wash it down! Lol unfortunately at last appointment (36+5) there was no sign of anything going on and I don't think this week will be any different =[

It sounds like we're all trying to push on until the end, hoping it's somewhat soon. I am extremely impatient for my doctor appointment Wednesday. I hope that I'll find out I've dilated more with the pain I've had, and that they could just send me to the hospital after my appointment.

Keep your heads up ladies! We're getting closer to meeting our little ones!

I'm due the 22nd. I haven't had my cervix checked yet. I have some contractions but not many. I had a pretty intense one at breakfast but that was it for the day. I haven't lost my plug (as far as I know) but I'm trying to get things going. I don't want to have to be induced this time.
