BIGGEST FEAR

Ok so im a nanny for four kids and I drive THEIR expedition while im at work. My biggest fear out of everything is my water breaking while driving their car. I am absolutely terrified that this is going to happen. I have already gotten contractions while driving with one of the twins, thankfully the contractions weren't crazy bad, and this happened today. I dont know what to do besides calling their aunt, Chris, my mom and my doctor. Like what should I tell their aunt if that happens? To just meet me at the hospital or what?

Couldn't they be a little more understanding and let you finish up a week or two before due date? Or is there a way you can avoid driving for the last week at least?
Can you take your daughter to work with you after?

I've seen you post this before so can see its a genuine worry for you :( xx

Oh they already told me she is allowed to come with me. I didnt even have to ask about that. Im actually 2 weeks 3 days from being due. I would love to be able to take off these last two weeks but because im taking off two weeks after I can't. Only thing I could do is have my mom help with the driving. The farthest I even have to drive is five to ten minutes depending on traffic

Princesslo007 is right, i would fill in the parents and see what they say about it. Also if your scared of your water breaking in the car i would start taking a towel or something and put it on the seat and then take it with you! Just in case (: also be careful! And if you start getting painful contractions pull over, im sure you already know that though.

Thats the thing im a nanny I have no maternity leave except for the first two weeks after my daughter is born. I need this job and im very lucky to have this job anyways. I have been in preterm labor since 34+1 weeks

Maybe this is something you should discuss with the parents of the kids you nanny! Let them know how you feel and then make a game plan with them, include Chris and your family into that game plan also! It can't hurt. The more you worry though, the more your going to stress! Just relax. :)

If you're scared of going into labor while working it's best to take ur maternity leave already
