Mine was 183 at 9 weeks. 164 is excellent as well. It's right where it should be :) every baby is different. Now that I'm further along (27 weeks) it seems to stay in the 150's now.

My ultrasound tech told me yesterday that the heartbeat got nothing to do with the gender of the baby. It's just depend on how active the baby was when she scan for the heartbeat.
My lil one's heartbeat is 149, doc told me it's good.

No no please do not believe the old wives tale about high heartbeat is so girl and low is a boy at 12 weeks my boys heartbeat was 170 and now at 22 weeks its 140 ish it depends on if the baby was active at the point of taking the heartbeat x oh and in answer to your original question yes really good anything between 110 and 170 ish is healthy xxxx

mine was 169 at 12 weeks and I'm having boy so I wouldn't believe the heart rate theory.

How far along are you? This is a normal heart beat and because it's high is likely a girl, depending on how far the pregnancy is.
