Baby Powder

Is it bad eating baby powder , i crave it often . Non stop ! IS it harmful to the babies I'm carrying

I would definitely not eat that. I think they say its not even good to put on babies butts anymore because when it puffs into the air they inhale it and its bad for them. So eating it can't be good. I would def talk to your doctor or try the iron pills like the other girls suggested.

Iron deficiency cause pica alot. Like I craved my conditioner. I'd take showers all day just to get a taste.lol but iron pills really helped get over that.

Definitely talk to you doctor because it is usually something you are missing in your diet. That and kind of like when anemic women crave ice.

I agree with Megan. My doctor told me that if I start craving stuff like dirt that I needed to call so they can figure out what I need more of in my diet.

I would tell your doctor because sometimes if you crave things you are missing something in your diet. So maybe they can find a good substitute that isn't a hazard possibly!

Its called pica, they talk about it on the symptoms list under cravings. Im not exactly sure if its harmful but just the fact that it is inedible leads me to believe you shpuldnt eat it.

I just watched my strange addiction the other day about a woman who would inhale & some times ingest baby powder & it definitely isn't good for you
