Baby falling asleep while feeding

My son is 2 weeks old and we had to switch his formula from Enfamil newborn  to Enfamil A.R. because he kept projectile vomiting. Well the A.R. is thicker and I'm assuming a bit more filling due to its thickness. Every time I go to feed him he falls asleep and maybe get an ounce to and ounce and a half down. I try everything to keep him awake but he still goes to sleep. I know he should be eating every 3 to 4 hours and I've been pushing it off to 4 in hopes he'll be hungrier and stay awake but nope he still falls asleep. I don't know what to do. I want him to get enough to eat but all he wants to do is sleep. Any other mommies have this problem?

I'll have to try stripping him down and see if that helps. Thank you!

He does have to work a little harder to get the formula out but he does get it. I tried a medium flow nipple and it was too much for him, the formula just poured out the side of his mouth. I feel so bad he is having trouble.

Having this same problem, my daughter is almost 2 weeks old and keeps falling asleep while being fed, spoke to her doctor about this she told me to strip her down so it's not so cozy for her and she will stay awake longer

My babies were like that they were sucking to much and to hard it tired then out. Keep waking him up and tryin make sure the milk is coming out easy enough from the bottle
