Might not mouth sorry lol
Thank Yall for the support :) and yeah i am going to try to get in with a different doctor, my mom said i mouth need a stress test because the contractions put stress on the baby, the nurse I talked to earlier did say I should go to labor and delivery to get in the monitor to make sure everything is ok. I am nervous about having him so early if i do, I hope they can try to stop labor if its not too far along if I do go early.
I would keep going back to the hospital... They will check you eventually... Good luck remember they work for you not the other way around. If you want to.be checked tell them so.. They cant tell you no you pay there paycheck.. Just try to relax take it easy.. Keep baby in as long as posssible.. :)
Seriously? 5 mins apart for over an hour and the doctor isn't concerned? At 31w? I don't mean to get you worked up over the doctor's poor attention, sorry. It's the last thing you need to do! I'm glad you have the support of your mom. Did she mention maybe getting another opinion from a separate doctor, even if it's outside your current doctor's practice? If I were you, I'd get a second lookover. This is about you and your baby's health. I want a successful delivery for you, one without the need for nicu or other interventions. I'll be thinking about you. Good luck!!
Well you only have 9 weeks left until you are 40 weeks, your body may just be trying to get ready for baby to come & for baby to drop down into your pelvic area. If you are really concerned though I would call your nurse/doctor's office & see what they say. Better safe than sorry! :) Good luck.
And the office told ne that even I saw the doc he wouldn't do a vaginal exam because he wouldn't want to stir anything up, I just don't get it, I would think he would do it to make sure because how else would we know
I get that feeling too, like anytime I call his office to talk to a nurse or to see if i can just come in to talk to him, they just tell me to rest and drink water, I went to l&d Friday night because i started having contractions regularly at 5 mins apart for over a hour, that's what he had told me to do before, but the nurse checked me and i guess everything was fine but she was doing a test that would say if I was gona have him in a few weeks or not and when she talked to my doc he told her not to even send the test off for results, I was like why? I mean she already did the test you know, but yeah i was talking to my mom about it and we don't think he's acting concerned at all, he knows I was early with my first and maybe some things I'm going through are normal but I would like to be able to have some closure atleast you know

It really depends if you're experiencing other preliminary or actual labor signs to determine if he'll arrive preterm. Braxton hicks contractions is just one of six preliminary signs. 31w is quite early and there's more development for your baby in the coming weeks, namely lung development. The key is to get you as full term (37w) as possible to reduce complications. If your having actual contractions, has your doctor performed a vaginal check-up to see if thinning or dilation is occurring? Have you been instructed to bed rest to slow progress? Has your doctor discussed medical methods for slowing or stopping the contractions should they become more regular? Sorry, but from your post it seems like your doctor isn't presenting you with necessary information for you and your baby's health.
