Bedrest aches and boredom

So I've been on strict bedrest for a week now, and every joint in my body hurts.  I'm so stiff and achey!! I've made sure I'm not in any one position for too long but it's not helping.
Plus I'm so bored!  I thought I'd be fine doodling around on my phone, but it's almost to the point that I don't want to look at it anymore.  I'm not crafty or else I'd crochet, or knit... Or anything lol!
I have 14 weeks to go.  Hopefully my bedrest can be lightened a little so I can at least go to a restaurant, or use a scooter in a store.  I'm having a really really hard time being confined to a chair, couch, or bed.... Kinda getting bummed out. :-(   all my friends keep forgetting and invite me to do stuff.  They understand though.  I just feel like a child I guess.  Everyone telling me what to do, family just inviting themselves over to make sure I'm not doing anything.  And then yelling at me if they catch me up getting a snack or drink.  Idk.... Just really bummed.

If you like to sew, maybe you can work on a baby blanket. I'm not a sewer, but if I get stuck on bedrest going to try some simple sewing projects like little embroidery patterns. They have iron-on transfers, my mom made a blanket made out of little embroidery squares featuring little baby animals that we loved when we were little, if I have time I'm going to try to at least do the embroidery and see if I can twist her arm into sewing it together for me. But if you could do it yourself, that'd be cool, and you can tell your baby one day you made it just for her/him.

I know and I keep thinking that :-)  but boy..... It'd be better if I had some kind of tasks lol.  I'm thinking if offering to hem and mend clothes.  I can sew, I just don't own a machine.  Maybe I can get my mum to get one for me if I pay her back lol

sounds like a time to learn to knit or crochet.       I quilt but only by machine so I think bed rest would drive me crazy too.    most important thing though is that you and baby are safe and healthy.

Maybe crossword puzzles or games on your computer? Working on a baby book or journal for your little one? They've told me it's possible I might be bedrested for several weeks too, I'm trying to figure out possible things I can do to keep me entertained. I can certainly understand your frustration. Hang in there.
