That seems early for an induction. If you don't want an induction and the baby hasn't arrived yet...then ask if it is medically necessary or if the baby is in trouble. They would only know this by monitoring the baby. Full term is anytime between 37 and 42 weeks gestation. Your baby may want to cook till 42 weeks. They all take different amounts of time.
In the meantime, stay active and walk. Keep hydrated and sleep well. Good luck to you!

I got induced last Tuesday it wasnt too bad ask for an epidural and u'll be pain free its a littls long well it depends on ur body. my cervix was closed and I wasnt dilating. I had an emergency c-section because my babyd heart beat kept lower and going up. But was born healthy n had nothing to do with the induction the doc now thinks she was playing with the embilicol cord I know I spelled thay totally wrong

Thats still a little early for induction, especially if you dont want it. Will they try a sweep first? I'm getting one on thursday when I'll be 40+5. It worked for me last time, my daughter was born less than 24hrs later! They wont do anything more invasive until I am 12days over.
