Birth Story :)

Went to my doctors Friday at 930 in the morning. I was 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Had him strip my membranes. Came home and hung out with my 4 year old and felt no contractions or pain so I thought it didn't work. Then at 6 pm while out running errands my water ruptured. Came home and got all my stuff together to go to the hospital and got there around 8pm. When they checked me, I was at 4 cm. My contractions finally started up and were around 5 mins apart. After a while I got an epidural and was a 6 cm. It did the job on the pain side of things but dropped my blood pressure pretty low which gave me an awful headache and made me extremely nauseous. The gave me some medication to help stabilize me and Zofran. Then around 4 am I had a weird feeling of pressure and my water bag exploded. It felt like a balloon popped inside me and water went everywhere and a lot of it. I was at an 8 cm. I asked for the doctor at this point. At 5:30 I needed to push and I was complete. Still no doctor. They said I could push with my contractions to get started and that the doctor would be there any min after two contractions and a few pushes she realized that it wasn't going to take me long to have the baby, so they made me breathe through the contractions and stop pushing. It was so painful and hard not to push. I kept telling her I have to push. I need the doctor. Where is he? Any min they would tell him. Then an hr later hour at 615 ish he finally came in. Suited up and with one push her head was out and second push her body was out. Little Aubree was born at 6:27 am  on May 24th. Weighting 7lbs 13oz.
