Bleeding after Mirena Removal. Pregnant or Marina Crash?

Help!!! I had the Mirena IUD implanted 7 wks postpardum. I loved Marina it was the best birth control that I have ever used but after some research I am starting to have my doubts. My cycle was on the dot every 29 days while using mirena.(14mths) I had it removed about 4 days before I was due to ovulate, so we could start TTC. The day after removal I had some very heavy bleeding for about 3days. Approx a week later I had some spotting for 2 days on and off. So now I am experiencing some early pregnancy symptoms but with neg HPT results. (acne, vivid dreams, squeamish, slight lactation.) My af is a week late from when I thought it would be due before Mirena was removed. Has anyone else experienced false preg symptoms after Mirena. Does removal bleeding interfere with your cycle. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks heaps. But bugger!!!! I just thought everything would go back to normal straight away. They def dont explain these things when the Doc suggests mirena. Our son is 18mths and just really thought we could get p again without any trouble. I mean we didnt even have to try the first time. Just as we were discussing going off bc we found out we were pregnant.

Hi, after I had my mirena removed I had every early pregnancy symptom you could think of...It also messed with my cycles and ovulation..I used to have 28-30 day cycles, ovulating on cd14, and after removal, my cycles changed to 37 days, and well I didnt figure out my ovulation until I became pregnant. It changed my O day to right after I got off my period, which is crazy, I had like a 25 day luteal phase. So yes it can change your cycles up...everyone says that it will go back to normal after your body re-adjusts...Also it took my 5 cycles to get pregnant after removal...I hope this helps you! Good luck.
