Bleeding for over 2 weeks, 8 wks pregnant

Has anyone else ever had this problem? I started bleeding over 2 weeks ago, Ive been to the ER and my doctor, had 2 ultrasounds ( both were good) No one can find a reason for the bleeding. My baby has a strong heartbeat, It just is freaking me out because the blood has to be coming from somewhere!! Everyone I know says this isnt normal. Whats going on?

I would not worry to much since the doctor said that everything looks ok , some women can have bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy .I have a friend  who had some spotting at the begining of the pregnancy and the doctor prescribed progesterone suppositories , maybe you should ask your doctor about this . anyway , as long as everything looks good at the ultrasound try not to worry to much ,  rest a lot and don't stress to much , it will go away.

I am 6w4d and have been heavy bleeding and passing clots for over a week.  I went to the OB yesterday to check this out.  US shows strong heartbeat and closed cervix.  Ob explained to me that sometimes in early pregnancy, the uterine wall sluffs off to prepare for implantation.  She seems to think that this is what is going on as well as implantation bleeding.  She put me on progesterone just to be on the safe side.  I am still bleeding with back pains and horrible cramping.  I tested negative for all STD's.  I am also considered Advanced maternal age.  This could also be the reason.  Hang in there.

well, that makes me feel a little better that there are people with the same problem and had or are close to having healthy babies. I have been tested already for chlamydia and it was negative. So still Im left with the unknown but I appriciate your feedback! :)

Hey that happened to me during the beginning of my pregnancy. I was spotting and freaking out...I didn't go to the ER or anything, b/c at the time didn't have insurance and neither did I have a OB to go to. Finally I got approved for insurance and fount an OB...Around 9 weeks pregnant, they did an u/s and didn't see where it was coming from, and then they do the normal testing for pregnant women. I had chlamydia. That is why I was spotting. I took the medication they prescribed and got rid of it, and no more spotting. Thank the Lord. I'm now 29 weeks pregnant. So it could be that....

hey
i had the same problem with my first son i would bleed on and off for week or so at a time until i was about 4 months. ( a lil bit farther actually ) i member i was sooo scared and demanded like all the answers lol but in reality ....their aint none just yet.
doctors would tell me its just one of those things that happen and we dont know why
although my friend had the same thing happen to her and she found out she had chlamydia i think she was about 12 wks or so but after she got that taken care of no more bleeding. so just get yourself checked out and try not to stress to much because like the doctors told me sometimes things just happen.
but anyways congrats and good luck...
