Bleeding strech marks.

Okay I am 35weeks pregnant and I have had strech marksfor a good part of my pregnacy and that is fine. I understand she is growing which is causing my belly to grow and strech no big deal there. Well for about a week I have been having blisters growing in my strech marks and this past friday some of them have poped and more have come, I do not know what to do at all. I have tried calling my doctor and no one is at his office. And now they are bleeding and have more forming. I have tried to put cream on them and soke in a warm bath and everything and nothing seems to be helping them. and I have about 15 poped blisters and about 6 or 7 unpoped, they are VERY sore and painful

Does anyone know what is going on or has anyone had blistered bleeding strech marks before.

More than likely it's just your skins reaction to the stretching and tearing of the different layers of skin.  Some people have more elasticity in their skin than others. Stretch marks can be anywhere from just an eye sore to down right annoying and painful.  As your belly grows if you skin can not keep up with the stretching in some cases they can pull apart and bleed.  The best thing I can suggest at this point until you can get ahold of your doctor is to clean them well, possibly with peroxide and put some neosporin or similiar antibiotic ointment on them.  If possible keep them covered so the neosporin doesn't get all over your clothes.  This will atleast help to keep them from getting infected until you can speak with your doctor about it.  It may be unsightly but if you can keep the unpopped blisters covered as well they will be less likely to pop from irritation.  Good luck!

I am sorry - that looks very painful.  Try calling a pharmacist if you can't get a hold of your dr.. maybe they can recommend something..
