Bruised ribs from baby?

I know this is an odd question but my ribs honestly feel bruised.  Just one little area near my breastbone.  Do you think that is possible.  It is so uncomfortable and it hurts to breath out.  I haven't been active enough to have hurt myself.  It's the first time I've felt anything like this.

thanks girls, I go to the doc tomorrow so I will mention it.  But most likely I just have to deal.  Only a couple days to go really.  Seems like an eternity tho!

Absolutely... my baby likes to kick me directly under my right ribcage and it's painful sometimes. I find it helpful to make sure I sit properly/strait up. I have a co-worker who suffered severe bruised ribs during her pregnancy, so it's not uncommon. Mention it to your doctor next time you're there, especially since it's causing breathing difficulties. But most likely it's nothing to worry about. Best wishes!

I think its very possible if you are getting kicked in the same spot all the time talk to your dr about it.

Good luck you don't have too long to go!
