My mother in law works for cps and we've been having disagreements about how we all get along in the house. My partner isnt feeling like we need to make it all about her when the baby comes and im worried that an anonymous caller which wont be hard to guess who will make a report on us no matter how supportive of parents we will be and cps will have to come check on us. Im afraid to talk to my partner about it because it is his mom after all but im worried that she might do something

There are some malicious people that call cps for no reason. My dad's mom called them on my mom when I was little after my mom sued for child support.

Sorry i ran out of space theres no abuse going on other than emotional stress my partner and i live a very clean life he even quit smoking last December because he didnt want me exposed to smoke :) but she tends to make things about her and throw things out of proportion and im worried she'll use cps to be more involved in the babys business if we dont include her enough in her mind

What reason would she have to call CPS? Is there any abuse going on or anything? Not trying to be nosy or anything but from ur post I didn't quite get the situation

If you guys are good parents, and live a clean life then you shouldn't worry too much. If CPS does get called, you'll know who it is.
