Can a negative test be wrong

Hi

Im trying to have a baby. I think i ovulated around the 13th Jan as I had the "egg white discharge" and cramping.
I suprisingly enough have a lot of pregnancy symtoms even though i havent missed a period yet. I have had the following:
Nausea
Headaches
Backache
Tender Breasts
Increased discharge
Cramps

I am due on in two days, but 2 days ago i did an early pregnancy test and it was negative.
I was going to do another test tomorrow, but do you think the previous test was correct and there is not point in re-testing? Or did i test too early?

negative tests can definitely be wrong...happens all the time. especially if you tested early. my first two tests were negative and now im almost 23 weeks!! so i would definitely retest in a few days once your late. if you ovulated later than you thought it can easily cause a negative result. also though premenstrual symptoms can be the same as pregnancy symptoms...or your mind can fool you into thinking your pregnant. you just never know! but i hope you are!! baby dust!! xxx
