Can a twin be mistaken as a cyst ??

At 7weeks the ER doctor did an ultra sound and said I had a left ovarian cyst and also saw my baby and told me I was 7 weeks . Can they mistake a twin for a cyst ? I went to my OB when I was 13 weeks and he only saw 1 but I asked him and he said I only see 1 for now and giggled .. I am 15 weeks now and I feel movement on my left lower side and also on my right upper side . Also everyone is telling me I'm having twins . Am I just freaking out or is it possible I'm having twins . Note my dad is a twin and my husbands grandfather is also a twin . Please help lol . My next doctors apt is march 4th I don't know if I'm getting another US or not
