Can you get pregnant a couple days after your period?

Me and my partner have just started trying for our first baby, i came off my period about 5 days ago and we have continued to try for a baby im just wondering if its possible to get pregnant just after finishing your period? and how soon you can take a test? many thanks

Its still very early days for me yet to be able to tell, i came off my period last tuesday 8th Nov, We only just decided were going to start trying for a baby and started trying saturday jus gone, as this will be my first baby im completly clueless as to signs and how early they can start ect and i hear so many different things from people so i just dont know... were going to keep trying as i have no clue when my ovulation days are lol and i didnt even know if it was possible to conceive so close to finishing my period!? x

Ive seen other websites like babycenter and a lot of women said they conceived as early as day 8 of their cycle and ill know tomorrow if im victim to that as well.

Its very possible. Look at NFP And ovulation sites. they have alot of info.

You can only get pregnant when you ovulate, however when a female ovulates is difficult to determine at times. If your cycle is regular, count back two weeks before your next cycle is due and have sex then.

I Believe I conceived around 8 days after the last day of my period, which was either the first of second fertile day on my ovulation app.

I honestly dont think its possible to be pregnant right after ur period! !

Well from what I hear you can get pregnant whenever. But a week after your missed period take a test.
