When is a good time to put the carseat in my car?? Or should I wait till my lil boy is born?

I just put mine in today because im being induced tomorrow but I have a 2 1/2 yr old too and I wanted to wait to move his carseat behind me

If you put it in early and don't have tinted windows put a towel or blanket over it. With my first daughter I had a navy colored on and put it in at 32 weeks and just left it in the car. When my husband brought it in the hospital it was noticeably sun faded on one side :(

I'm 40 weeks today ! And no car seat :(

We installed the bast at like 35 weeks. But didn't put the carseat in until we headed to the hospital

im planning on doing it around 36 weeks. im 33 now. i have it all ready to go though just in case. were taking a different vehicle to the hospital than were bringing him home in though, but id just like to have it in my truck and ready so hubby doesnt have to do it when he comes home to switch vehicles.

Im 37+2 and babys carseat still isnt installed. :/ my husband will probably do it right before baby and i come home from the hospital! :)

I live literally 3 minutes from the hospital..my bf still hasn't done it.. had her today but he's going to the police station tomorrow to have them show him the right way to hook it in

I'd say around 36-37 weeks.

I am 27 weeks and my doctor suggested getting it ready now so it does not get forgotten at home.
