Changing car motor oil

My pregnant friend is very independent, she is almost 12 weeks pregnant and wants to change her own car oil. I have read online that this is not safe, and I don't believe she should. Any advice/suggestions/input on this?

I done it when I was pregnant with my first. Put new break pads on cars, changed oil, and done alignments. She could ask her doc but I just made sure I was in a well ventilated area. And I didn't put the car up on jacks for fear it would fall on me while I was under it. I just slid under to drain oil and change the filter and then replaced both and carried on with the rest. I done this 5 days a week until I couldn't fit under the car anymore lol.

Understandably, and I agree. But I am available to do it and she refuses, and again, I have read it's not healthy with all the chemicals and that it's a carcinogen. That's what concerns me
