I keep a step stool inches away from the toilet and then place my feet on them whenever I have to go or feel like I may need too. It helps me a lot. Even when it feels like I can't go, I still sit there with my legs up and eventually I do.
My doctor gave me a stool softener when they gave me the iron and prenatal pills. But since I refuse to drink all those pills I never needed it. I've heard the iron pills cause constipation
Your doc should definitely be able to prescribe a stool softener OR you can actually buy dulcolax over the counter but may want to consult with ur doc first.
I got that miralax stool softener. I just read that you could take it daily..
Coffee used to help lol...Iv always had this problem but now I'm pregnant it's gotten worse...iv tried milk of magnesia but I just don't like how it comes out..I wonder if my doc can prescribe Somthing?
If none of these other siggestions work for you either, I highly recommend consulting with your doctor about prescribing a stool softener like dulcolax.
How about a cup of coffee in the morning? :)
