I eat a 10lb bag a week. I said something to the Dr and they checked my iron and it was perfect. The crunching sound for some reason soothes me. I will take a warm bubble bath and take 2 cups of ice to eat while relaxing. But my hubby hates it, he says the sound drives him crazy.

Water, and fries for me, its kinda a good thing if you think about it cause it keeps us from drinking sodas and sugary drinks(though you do need to tell your doc)

I am the same girl!!! I eat ice all the time cause its summer and I'm hot and ice chips are perfect and I'm not anemic at all. It could be iron deficiency but ice is one of those things that it either is or isint a sign because it's also some weird craving women get for being prego. But enjoy the ice craving because once you're in labor those ice chips will be amazing!!!

My iron is fine as well and I'm ADDICTED to eating ice lol I think we go through 3 to 6 ice trays a day!  I just love that it quenches your thirst while not having to drink a huge amount of water!  I also like the crunchiness of it lol

That's an iron deficiency, I have been anemic since i was little and would eat cups full of ice chips. The Dr. told my mother that was a sign of low iron.

I have and just had a doctor's appointment where I found out I'm anemic too. Funny thing is that I hadn't made the connection between craving ice chips and being low on iron until I saw this post.
