Easiest way to tell months from weeks?

I have a question that a.ways see,s to puzzle me, I read on the Internet people telling different ways for comparing months to weeks and its always different. I'm 22weeks and just find it confusing to use the months method so I stick to weeks, but just curious what everyone else has to say about it and giving there thoughts about weeks and months?.. Anyone??? How many months would 22 weeks be I heard 5 1/2 months or even 6 months.. So I don't get it I've even calculated for myself but still find it confusing..

You really cant convert because 40 weeks is actually 10 months, and that's because weeks start from the first day of your last menstrual, so you get a few bonus for the time that you spent before you even conceived. Months were used back in the day before there were ultrasounds and home pregnancy tests, and they really aren't very accurate. People had to wait it out back then and usually didnt know for a good 4 weeks, hence the 9 month thing. So at 22 weeks...youre really only 3.5 months pregnant...unless you want to be pregnant for 10 months lol.

Some people start counting from last menstrual period and others from conception which would be gestational weeks of pregnancy which is 2 weeks behind lmp. So that is probably why you were given dates. It's easiest to go buy weeks, as its 40 weeks confirmed, whereas as the person said about pregnancy isn't 9 months its neatly 10. I am 9 weeks but if I use months I am 2 months 1 week, so you can see why weeks are used.

I asked the same question a few months back. It confused me to. One lady pointed out that we are actually pregnant for nearly ten months as sum months have more than 30 days.

22 Weeks would be 5 1/2 months. You wont be 6 months until your 24 weeks. This is how I figure it out I divide 4 by how ever many weeks I am and it gives me how many months. Like me I'm 31 weeks so 31/4=7.75 is that easier
