i have never had a problem with eating, well except for the first trimester, all i could eat was cereal, salad, and soup.. which is all I want now.. is that weird? But the second and third trimester, ive been eating anything and everything.. not much meat though cause i dont like meat in the first place, but i try. and i def dont like chicken, so im mad bout df making me eat that. lol.. cause now i feel worse.. Im just so used to being hungry every couple hours.. and starving when i first wakeup, this morning i wasnt even hungry when i woke up but I ate anyway. and that was at 10:30, then I didnt eat again up unil an hour ago which would been at like 5:30.. so thats along time without eating, and im affraid its gonna hurt my baby.. but im def gonna get some cereal later tonight after my bath, prolly while i watch the new 16 and pregnant. lol
I have been a total pig my whole pregnancy until around now (almost 38 weeks) and i have to watch the time because i can accidentally go hours without eating and then i end up getting a terrible headache and im so hungry i cant stand it lol its strange. I've just been treating myself to whatever the heck i feel like this last month because its our last chance to not have to watch the calorie intake...if i want ice cream or a big ol hamburger i eat it...im already huge anyway right?! lol try chicken in a salad with lots of cheese on it...or bagels with peanut butter. nutrious things but things that taste really good! i would probably kill my DF if he didnt let me eat what i wanted right now...lol props to you for choking down the good stuff (id be eating cereal)
Im having the same problem especially after the nurovirus(Im scared to eat!)
The only thing I seem to fancy is apples & dragon fruit :? I have to say it does worry me & I have been told to try & eat a little more substance but have also been told its completely normal?
Guess we have to go with what our body tells us?!
Yes, it is normal. When your stomach is squished by all that baby, there isn't much room for food and you may feel a decrease in appetite. If you can't eat good meals, then you should snack as often as possible and take in healthy high calorie/healthy fats foods such as peanut butter. If you can, just have and apple with peanut butter or something like that
awww I'm sorry...do your best, but tell him that milk in cereal is a good alternative when you aren't eating meat because it has similar vitamins in it....so maybe he'll let you get away with cereal.
Im trying to eat these chicken and brocoli noodles with chicken right now, cause df is making me, but its taking awhile to get it down.. I made the mistake of letting df come to my appointment yesterday and he heard the doctor say im not eating enough good food, like meat and stuff... I just want cereal but he wont let me have any, hes making me eat this stuff.. im gonna vomit
Well because you're past 34wks they probably won't prescribe nausea medicine, but that varies by OB, they may if you call....just find something that doesn't make you sick and eat it as often as possible. I didn't eat a whole lot in the 9th month when I was pregnant with my daughter, and I barely eat enough to keep a bird full with this pregnancy. If you need to eat, then you need to eat and I would try stuff like lightly buttered or dry toast...and do your best. Good luck girl
